Visually, there are a lot of graphics out there for the car. If you want to replace any bulbs here are the part numbers:
Headlights: H13 (D2S for RS headlights)
Turn signal bulbs (front): 3157A
sidemarkers: 194
Fog lights: H16 (9009)

www.aacstyle.com has some cool visual effects for the car, mostly lighting though.
I've heard different stories from different policemen about the front license plate here in TX. One policeman said it is not required because the car doesn't have mounts in the bumper for it and is therefore not required. The other said it is. To play it safe you could buy a pop-up license plate holder like I did so it is there for the road and gone for the show.

Performance, unfortunately, is limited for the V6 and what is available is kind of pricey. Cold air intakes run ~ $300 and eBay has been the only place that has a throttle body spacer available. BBK makes long tube headers for the V6 but the price is near $1k and someone here is claiming they changed out their torque converter too but I don't believe it. A unique way to add performance would be finding a way to shed the weight. I don't know if it exists, but some lightweight 20s would be a start because the stock wheels and tires are roughly 70lbs a piece!

My latest project (first performance mod too) is a custom made CAI for the car. Nearly all the ones available for the V6 curve to the driver's side where the air box is. My CAI concept is to straight line the intake to the throttle body. The air filter will rest behind the grill above the bowtie and the intake tube will go directly to the throttle body. The only major kink (so far) is placement of the hood latch assembly. I will update and post when more progress is made.

Sorry for the lengthy post, I finished my assignments for class early and am trying to kill time. Congrats on the ride!

I'm sure if you check ebay and stuff you could find something somewhere. try lmperformance.com too, maybe they'll have it.

There was a thread made way back talking about that issue, don't know if it has been successfully done yet. There are some wiring harness products on eBay that claim to work but no one here has vouched for it yet.

I also have a base model 1LT, 2010 without the RS/SS "halo" headlights. Dont go to the dealership for those headlights!! My local dealership/stealership wants approx $1700 for a pair these!!

Update on the home made CAI: Not going to happen. I can't find an alternative way to keep the hood latched (refuse to use hood pins) and the dealer said a huge hole above the radiator would void the warranty instantly. So now, I'm looking at a CAI by Injen or BBK.

Just buy the kit from the dealer and install it yourself if you want to do it right. Wont have to worry about fleabay quality material and it will be the right fit.

Nice purchase!
