I stopped at Tustin Chevrolet in Orange County CA to see and hopefully drive an SS. They did have an orange SS in the showroom with the doors locked. I asked the salesman if I could sit in the car, not drive it, sit in it, and he advised that I could sit in it if I bought it. After I stopped laughing, I advised him that they are not going to sell any cars with that attitude. Also, they had a $5500 markup over MSRP. One thing I did notice during my 30 seconds at this stealership was that the orange front facia/bumper was a different color orange than the other exterior pieces of the car.
