Default Researching a purchase

Hello, new here. Anyway, long story short. I had a 68 rs ss built from scratch. 396 4 speed etc. Very nice. Sold it for investments. Went Road racing bikes. Now thats over. So I found a car that fits the bill. I would love some advice, info etc on the purchase. 2014 SS Hennessey. 650hpe package. 4600 miles. Love the car. Seems perfect. Done some research. But struggling with what to pay for it. Plus seeing if there are any issues that are known with them? Doesn't seem like it. But doesn't hurt to ask. Guess go from there. Thanks

They are asking 50k for it. Does that sound reasonable? It is loaded. Plus the Hennessey, suspension upgrades and low miles. Seems like a lot of car. Would love any input. Thanks

Just my opinion but it is tuff to beat a 2017 LE1 SS1. You could then add a supercharger kit and hit close to 700hp. You basically will have a ZL1/LE1 for about 20k under GM asking price and you can do it in stages. 2017 1SS LE1 list at about 44k. But its end of year no reason you should not be able to get one at or under 40k.

The 6th generation Camaro is about 400 lbs lighter then the 5th generation. Regardless of the modifications it will be tuff to overcome 400 lbs lighter on a road course.

GM spent millions on developing the LE1 package. 1000’s of hours testing and tweaking. There is no way a small company could be as detailed in its mods.

2017 will also get you a LT1. There seems to be a lot of guys hitting over 1000 hp with the LT1s. The are breaking transmission and rears but the engines are holding up.

Edit: My bad the 4 cylinder is 400 lbs lighter, the V8 is 250 lbs lighter. It is also suppose to be more ridged.

Kind of cool to have an American muscle car that will out run a Ferrari 488 GTB on a road course.
