That is still horrible gas mileage considering that it is a "fuel efficient" Civic.

Here is some good numbers for you to play with:
2007 Chevrolet Cobalt SS/SC
Miles:36000
Power: 226hp@ 6250RPM & 196ft/lbs torque
GAS MILEAGE: 22 mpg street (floggin the gas all the time), 35+mpg Highway @ 80mph!

So your Civic is less fun, uglier, slower and less fuel efficient than my Cobalt (no offense at all. Just showing off)

Still mid 17 for the SS
30-40 in the Kia
and the 67 is measured in GPM not MPG.

I have a 2010 LT with around 4,500 miles, and I'm averaging about 21.5-22 MPG and do not baby it at all. I drive about 55 miles per day, but mostly interstate.

Is there a point in the range of rpm from zero to redline, where the injectors start to dump more fuel? I've noticed that when I'm accelerating rapidly that around 2,200 rpm it seems that the engine begins to develope more power. I that because more fuel is being dumped or is it just because of the engine's power curve?
