Radio cutting in and out

I know the 4th gen camaro's had a problem with the bcm causing the radio to cut in and out. Does this also apply to 5th gen? My daughters 2010 radio constantly cuts in and out.

only thing common with 4th and 5th gen is name. oh and both burn gas,,, all i can think of. lol. is it just the radio or does cd/ipod also cut out?

Radio cd and Bluetooth cuts out.

did a quick search, try taking fuse for sub out. if not that radio was problem. couldnt find a fix but did find a few posts on the issue. dealership replacing radio seemed to be the fix found on most.

Pulled the amp fuse and the radio completely cut off.

i have a feeling the radio is the problem. wish there was more info available.

I'm picking a new radio this morning and hopefully that will fix it.

Well put in a new radio and it was still cutting in and out and the rear driver side speaker was still thumping. Guessing now it is the amp so tomorrow I'll swap out the amp and see if that fixes it.
