Hello Camaro Owners,

Picking-up my new 2012 1SS Coupe (auto/pwr sun roof) Monday at dealer. Any helpfull issues I should look for or be aware of before I start it up? Thanks,

Awesome..... Cant wait to see it. Did you get it today?!? The wife has been pushing me to get a new SS but I wanna hold out for a ZL1. Congrats on your new Ride!

 

Thanks Scooch. Yes we took delivery yesterday and drove it 112 miles home from Denver. Drove all diferent speeds as there is a 1500 mile break-in period. It steers like you're on a rail and reminds me of a quarter horse I rode for a summer on my uncle's ranch moving Angus steers. Very responsive and comfortable ride. Like one Camaro owner told me if you use the mirrors visibility is good which is contrary to the critics. The SS has all the ponies we need and I can't imagine having the ZL1 engine under the hood. This Silver Bullet really turns heads!!! I actually purchased it for my wife as I drive a Silverado Duramax/Allison. "See the USA in your Chevrolet" Dinah Shore 60s he he. I'm an O'l Fart.

Nice car, it must be white and blending in with the background. But I thought you said it was silver?

 

Yes it is Silver! Chevy calls it "Silver Ice Metalic". Maybe the early morning sun-up didn't do it justice. Same color as the Camaro on the TV show "Hawaii Five-O".
