Got my cold air intake today. Lovin the look. Lovin the power. But noticed the engine is a bit louder. Is this normal?

What brand is it? ANd if you dont mind me asking, what did it cost you? And is it true that cold air intake will increase your mpg a bit as well?

 

it should be a bit louder but not too much though. How does the power feel at WOT?

 

It should be a little louder but not terrible. I used to have a 350Z that I put a CAI in and it makes it louder when you hit the gas because it is sucking more air into the motor. It gives you a little deeper noise in my opinion. Getting ready to put one on my 2SS just can't decide on brand. Might do the Hennessey or the Airaid!
