New camaros r ugly
Interesting input chappie. I thought it looked big in the videos, but I hadn't heard anyone talk about it who had seen it in person. Your post scares me a little bit, because you make some good points. I still think I like it though.
After reading this thread I thought that I'd throw in my two cents worth, obviously some people have a different version of butt ugly than I do, those Honda and Subaru "squareback" psuedo SUVs fit my definition of butt ugly. I like the 2009 Camaro, there may be a few little changes I would have liked to see, but I like the overall concept. When I bought my first Camaro in 1967 (327 RS) I liked the way they looked, when I bought my second Camaro in 1969 (Z28) I absolutely loved the way they looked, the way the Z ran was a lot of fun too. The 2009 Camaro reminds me a lot of the 69, though obviouly updated and modernized, it still draws on the same basic lines and cues. I'm certainly thinking about buying an 09 and would like to see a Z28 version with the superb handling they had in the past. Like so many cars (and other things), I guess you either like it or you don't. I know I'd like to see an 09 Z28 in Rallye Green sitting in my driveway!

I think the new camaro looks pretty good. Exspecaly the convertible. Plus with the LS2 is going to have great Power.
But I think the new Challenger is better. It looks better and it has a 6.1 L Hemi SRT 8
Im love camaros but im a but Mopar fan too. I think the Challenger is a better car. Either way their both better than a certain car that is named after a horse. . .

i dont think it looks that bad. chevy needs to do what ford did with the stang and dodge is goin to do w/ the challenger, make it resemble the old school ponies to some degree. i think that will make buyers more passionate to buy one. i do think however the new conv. looks awesome for a pony. better than the stang by a long shot.
