I hope all is well just to give you all brief description of what is going on I recently replaced the starter and changed the transmission fluid in my 5th gen camaro ss the battery was unhook during the removal of the starter and once transmission fluid change and starter was completed I proceeded to hook the battery back up when I went to start the car it cranks up then shuts right back off I've tried different relearn procedures remove and added the keys back to the system I even went as far as to get a new key made still will only crank and shut right off the theft lock indicator on the dash remains solid....side note prior to doing this I changed the ecm and bcm and the ring around the ignition it drove perfect until I disconnected the battery if anyone have and advice I greatly appreciate it.....at this point I feel defeated

 

welcome to the forum. I moved your thread to the 5th gen general section and we will see if anyone has had the same issue. I am thinking the new computer may not be getting along with the cars security system. you may have to take to dealer and get them matched up properly.
