One last pic, notice the slightly tallertrunk spoiler on the back of the prototype on the far left, you can also compare some to the current Mustangs.

yes i saw the crappy cell phone pic.. i didnt base it off of that.. in that picture first off all the car is white, crappy picture and the shading hides all the lines.. they do look sharper in the camo pics put just not as sharp and mean lookin as they apeared in the concept car.. and as for that last pic.. i do like the taller trunk spoiler...

This is one of the latest pics to surface, likely a base V-6 model (notice no spoiler/lip on trunk), if you look closely at the roof it appears to have a sunroof. Twenty inch wheels and tires, slight change in the bottom panel of the rear end and a lower to the ground trunk access, can't see a gas filler access anywhere. I'm pleased with what Chevy has done so far.

ya.. the most obvious change here is the trunk... this wouldnt be bad for a v6 model... i like how its lowered a little more though

I think the clues have been there for several months that there would be no t-tops, the addition a B pillar to meet rollover requirements should have tipped off anyone thinking that t-tops would be offered. Yes they could be designed, but at what cost, would it be practical for GM to do so and would YOU or anybody else be willing to pay that muchadditional for them? Probably not, so I don't think we'll see them.

personally i think the roof looks too short for t tops.. i like the hard tops just the way it is.. mayb a full convertible would be nice.. but doubt that as well

I agree with you, I don't think the t-tops would look good on this car, I would have liked a true hardtop but I can understand why the B pillar was added and I can live with that. I also would not have wanted the additional cost and weightit would have taken to do a true hardtop in order to meet the more stringent crash standards.

Um, Let me point out a few things first.

The LS9 is going to be used in the Corvette ZR1, now tell me, why would GM put the exact same motor in the Camaro? The motor alone has to be about 20k, no one would be able to afford it, it would be just as expensive as a base Corvette.

Especially when they just passed the new Energy Bill which states that by 2020, every car sold needs to be able to produce 35mpg, which is why that's going to be the last Corvette with that much power.

Now, It wouldn't be far-fetched for GM to throw the LS3 (6.2 liter 430 hp) in the SS, but my strong belief is the LS2.
