Yes, many. Check the FORCED INDUCTION section of this V8 mods thread at camaro5

There's a TON of stuff out already for this car thankfully.

i have an '05 mustang v6 right now...it's automatic (which is why i want a manual now) and extremely suped up...i did everything short of a supercharger on this car (4.10 gears, MMR cold air system, catback dual MAC exhaust with reverse y pipe, JBA silver ceramic shorty headers, underdrive pulley, bigger throttle body, throttle body spacer, bosche ignition wires, screamin' demon coil, and SCT2 tune) but nothing compares to a healthy v8 to start with paired with a fun manual transmission...my mustang is a beast for a 6er but i can't wait for the ss

it's gonna be my first brand new car because i got the stang with about 12,000 on her...so i'm also excited that my first brand new car gets to be the ss
Have you ever ran the Mustang at the track? What did it run?

Sounds like a really nice car but I'm pretty sure after you drive your new SS you'll forget all about that Ford.

Nice looking car.

No I've never taken the Mustang to the track...I've wanted to just to see what it'll run in the 1/4 mile but I have no idea...Off the line and up to about 45 or 50 I can beat my friend who has a WRX turbo (or Impreza or whatever it's called...just not the STI, but the turbo one below it) and I've also beaten a Mitsubishi 3000 turbo completely [disclaimer...people don't street race I learned my lesson with this...It's very stupid!!...The other guy wrecked his car because he didn't have traction control and we hit a bumpy road...My car was fine and it was at night when no one was around in a small town, but I have learned my lesson and street racing is not cool guys!! Don't do it!!]

For a V6 it sounds decent actually a lot of people ask me if it's a V8 because idling is a bit deceiving with my catback, headers, and modifications hehehe (oh and I tell them it's a V6 I'm not one of those people who try to pass it off as something it's not lol) and actually full acceleration is deceiving as well and very respectable, but the mid range gives the tone away (at least with O/D on...it sounds and performs really well with O/D off)

But the looks and performance on the SS have been calling me ever since I first saw the car so as soon as "the beast" arrives I have no problem saying goodbye to the 'stang

I'm new here but planning on buying an 2010 ss in the next few months...
They already have a decent number of performance parts available for such a new car.

the hennesssy one is very expensive.

and i forgot the name of the law, but it protects buyers from having their warranty voided by adding 3rd party mods

Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act? not sure

Glad I'm reading about this stuff now. I'm considering buying a 2010 SS 6spd..already know I'll want a bit more "seat of the pants" torque considering the weight of camaros VS my 08 mildly cammed Z06. I do want to keep the car driveable.

A must for me is a tint job, a sweet set of 20" deep lip wheels, CAI and cat back exhaust and a bit lower....just a wee bit. So it's looking tight and right.
