Default Help Buying 2010 Camaro 2ss with Supercharger

I will start by saying I pretty much know nothing about cars, let alone modifications. Here is my question:

I am about to trade my truck for a 2010 2ss camaro 6spd manual that has a magnuson "magnacharger" installed. If the deal happens, the supercharger will be removed and returned to stock.

I understand what a supercharger does, but I would like to know the following:
1. What are the potential hazards of buying a car that has had a supercharger installed and removed. will a supercharger ruin the engine? shorten its life span?
2. Will I still qualify for an aftermarket bumper to bumper warranty once it has been removed? About how much might one of these run for a 2010 2ss camaro with $19k miles?
3. I am going to look at the vehicle in two days, what things should I look for to make sure the car won't die on me after a month, i.e., noises, engine look, shifting, etc. How can I best protect myself against a lemon?

Please help so I don't get ripped off! thank you much.
