Greetings Gents
Hey Guys-
I posted briefly in the "new members" forum...but thought I would post here as well. I'm new to the forum and haven't owned a camaro in many years. They were fun when I was younger but then I had a family and time and money were needed for other things. I would briefly look into it now and then and from the first time I saw the spy pics of the 5th gen camaros I have been dreaming of one.
Fast forward to yesterday on the I-5 freeway here in San Diego when I see a black RS/SS pass me. I couldn't believe my eyes and sped up to check it out further. This car was nothing less than incredible. After going on and on all night about how I loved the car, and watching my wife roll her eyes (shes a MB/BMW "snob") she surprised me today with a Father's Day trip to the dealership where I ordered my 2SS/RS! I am, obviously, on cloud nine at this point and can't wait for my car to arrive. I always knew it, but this solidifies the idea for me that I have the best wife on the planet!

congrats!! first of all let me say, "gents" may be a little biased. . .us women can enjoy a muscle car just as much as the next guy 
but secondly. . .what color? what engine? give us the details? I'm new to the forum as well but learned quickly that people here want the details down to the wheels me, I got the 2 SS/RS black on black with the moon roof option, should be here late august early september

My apologies TBarb...I should know better!
In any case, I ordered the 2SS/RS in Silver w/ Black Rally Stripes. IO interior and engine covers, polished wheels, moonroof, and initially the ground effects package but I have since deleted that option as I think the car looks better without them. No offense to those who have them, it's just not to my taste.
The last Camaro I owned was a '79 Z28...I'm thinking this one might be a bit different!
