Default Flowmaster Ordered

So I broke down and ordered the Flowmaster catback. $650 from Summit (pricematched from LMPerformance). I was thinking just cut out the mufflers for about $200 but if I didnt like it I would get the FM anyway and be out the $$$ anyway.

So the waiting begins.......

That vid says he has headers too, which is good to know. Just in case down the road I want to go that route too I wont have to buy another exhaust. Of course I probably would have chopped it up before buying another.

So go it and installed today. Didnt even have to jack the car up until I had the old one dropped. I couldnt figure out how to get the valence off all the way so I had to lift er up to slide out the guts. everything went back on nice and easy and was pretty much lined up with out much adjustment. I kind of ruined it for myself though since I ran it with nothing from the the cat back before putting it all back on (I recorded it, but will upload it later). That sounded great to me, the FM is a little more quiet. I only ran it about a mile, wicked t-storms rolling through right now. I did disconnect the battery for about 10 minutes, but I dont know if that does anything or not. It seemed that pretty much everything was still in memory, but it coulndt have hurt either. It felt alot more responsive, but again the streets are soaked and I had to watch for hydroplaning. Didnt do to much documentation, but will put up a couple of pix tomorrow.

This is before I put on the FM, just air from the cat back. I was tempted to just leave it like this.
