One way to look at it as you have modern technology that is faster and more efficient, and handles better.

You'll have to add goodies like a cam, headers, exhaust to wake up the car and approach the raw feel of the older muscle cars.

I think that the root of these complaints is that GM wanted to build a thoroughly modern car, but many purists think that the comfortable ride and quiet interior are too much of a good thing. Can't say that I blame you for complaining, but despite the styling, this is a completely 21st-Century car. I didn't care that my Camaro rode like the axles were bolted directly onto the chassis, but in today's market, a $35k+ car should be a little more supple than that. The car was designed to attract Camaro faithful, while it was engineered to lure customers who probably wouldn't normally consider an American sports car.

from some of the posts on here i get the feeling u guys want to ride around in noisy old lumber wagons. not attacking guys, just saying, "too quiet inside" and "rides too soft" i just dont see how you can complain about that guys. so long as it sounds powerfull on the outside for everyone to envy, isnt that all that matters?

So get a 1st-4th Gen.

Me, I'll take a quiet cabin and better ride over bumps any day!

Yes, and the engineering is overall AWESOME compared to the previous generations...

where is the spirit of the "hot rod" gone? few saying its nice to be quiet, thats crap. It IS a Camaro, LOUD is the only way to go.
