Default A few Complaints

To begin with I feel that there is not enough engine noise inside the cab. Actually there is almost no road noise at all. It lacks the raw sound of the previous generations.

I've heard the same regarding the 2010 Camaro. The 2010 Mustang GT actually has a port from the outside so the driver can hear the exhaust because it was constructed so quiet inside.
Camaro has the same problem I would imagine, but no port was installed thus , its very quiet and Camry like.

Heard a nice looking yellow one go by my house yesterdsay-definitely a V8 but disappointing in rumble.
The exhaust note sucks for a car that represents American Muscle with so much power.

Play a CD with engine noise, you can make you car sound anyway you like, from a P51 to a fuel dragster. lol

A simple axle back exhaust mod is all you need.

Here's a simple couple hundred $$ fix....cut the mufflers out and a straight pipe in.

There is so much you can do after-market that would have to be 1st on the mod list. As you all know however, sound is a gamble in achieving what you want
But...it's a shame the Chevy engineers didn't put the same effort as in other modern muscle rides.

For example- the Mustang Bullitt, they worked specifically to achieve the same exhaust note as the car Steve McQueen drove in the movie.
In the New Era GTO's, engineers designed over 40 exhaust configurations before selecting the one yielding performance and sound.

Chevy stuck 2 fart cans on the back of the Camaro which are visibly ugly and sound like my Honda Accord.

Personally, I want to hear the rumble each time I'm in the car-windows up or down. That's what it means to drive American Muscle. If you want quiet, there are tons of Beamers out there.

I also feel as if the ride is to soft. So between the lack of noise and the ride being so soft if feels as if I'm driving a Cadillac on cocaine. The Car handles really well but it again, just lacks that raw feeling of the previous generations.
