So what if it's heavier than the mustang? It looks better. Besides, mustangs are cool and fast, but they are rattle traps and they are on every block in my town. Everybody and their mom owns a mustang or two. The camaro is always one step ahead of the mustang in my book.

 

Yep, weight doesnt matter. it doesnt matter in power to weight ratios or fuel efficiencyor anything. Honestly.. Fords in general arent all that well built off the assembly line anyway..

 

Did GM confirm that they are using that model or are they going to use another one like this one in the link ?

Lutz or somebody else from Chevy was recently quoted that the only way he could tell the difference at a glance between the official concept seen at the auto shows and the pre-production cars that will be the production model was by looking at the door handles and rear view mirrors. So no, it won't be like the one in the link you listed.
