car appears to be alot smaller in person than it appeared at the car show...

How much does a GTO weigh? I'd bet good money it's nearly the same...

Maybe stock Mustangs... It probably STILL weighs more than any current production SVT/GT.
The only reason the camaro will weigh so much is because all kinds of new safety crash regulations. But watch the mustang weight will soon follow. What really sucks is I love convertibles. So im hoping that chevy will eventually put a motor in it that will offset it. I already will have about 55-60k ready for the camaro. If I could get a 600hp convt. I'll be so happy. They better not do what they did with the vette and only offer the higher horse camaro in hardtop.

Right on; that new camaro totally rocks! I’ve admired the ‘maro for manyyears, but this new version has me so hot and bothered, I’m joining testosterone-loaded forums just to get my fix.

I like the new Camaro. Can't wait for it to come out. I'll tell you that the Chris Horton Camaro just blew me away. He did a hell of a job bringing out the old and the new of the Camaro. Way better than the high paid auto designers of GM. But I sill think they did a good job.
