Default Cold Air Intakes on 2012 Camaro 2SS

Has anyone put a G5CR S2 Cold Air Intake on their 2010-2012 SS? It is sold through Morano Racing. Is there another brand anyone has used and is happy with? Thanks much!

Except that the picture shows a hot air intake. A real cold air intake it has to reach out of the engine compartment and suck air in from the outside.

I've had both and with forward movement, she won't be sucking hot air long...

Yeah, I agree. The cold air intake for my Kenne Bell Twin Screw blower is way down, to get the coolest air. Of course, if ya' want it even cooler, putttin' in an ice box for the intercooler is a good idea.

I'm consderin' swappin' out for a five gallon box over the rear axle where the extra weight can assist in hookin' the drag slicks to the track. Also, a larger ice box can give ya' four or mebbe five passes before you gotta' recharge the ice in the tank.

The GSCR "cold" air intake works great on my 2012 45th Anniv 2SS. I am very pleased with it.
