generic cold air intakes?

Default generic cold air intakes?

what do you guys think of those like 40 dollar cold air intakes on ebay, couldnt i get a generic brand intake and then put on a k&n filter?

first homes...when you ask for advice post what you car is....second im assuming you have a 3.8 if you have a 95-97 then a generic Ebay intake will work fine with a good filter like K&N will work if your rideing a 98-02 just ge a K&n filter and then remove your stock intake sand down the baffles on the instide of the intake and reconnect it

i have an ebay intake and i like it alot. make sure you get the full system and not just a filter though. its a pain to put on, and it doesnt come oiled, but it gives better throttle response and makes a cool sound[sm=massbounce.gif]

out of the box a KN filter will come pre oiled but every so often you have to clear and reoil it....

If you have a k&N filter, just look for the K&N recharge kits. Do not oil your stock filter, it's disposable, and probably has a paper elememt.
