Interstate, read Owner's Manual for battery info, as in Group size, i.e., Group 75, 78, etc.
Welcome to the Club and congrats on the buy. Enjoy the new journey.
Interstate dealer should swap it out and hopes they put on a jump box as this action will save all memory of all electronics, otherwise, it will relearn and you will have to reset stereo stations and clock.

hi. thank you very much... it is to late i waited for a reply, but i didnt wait long enough.. :-(
i should've came back on here to check :-( been so busy
i was suppose to get Interstate but the place i went to, lied about the install. so i went to a dealership (which i hate dealerships) and they installed
an AC Delco Battery. please tell me if i made a mistake. the original battery after 7 years later was a ac delco. and they said the new one has more amps... please reply as i will check and again i appreciate your help.

Nothing wrong with the AC Delco other that it probably cost you more,it should be just fine. That said if your car is not a daily driver or gets parked in the winter months you might want to invest in a battery tender for the down time as it will extend the life of your battery a good deal and you won't have to worry about it starting after it's hibernation time.

As Y2K said, you did good with an AC Delco.
Walmart sells Schumacher Battery maintainer for $10, for those hibernating months.

You did good, When my battery gives up I will be going with a AC Delco. I have a solar powered battery tender from Harbor freight. Keeps the battery up when it sits over the winter months.
