Specter, your thinking of an SC430. I saw one of those at some resturant last week and i was like WTF!!!! There is no way humans, even babies, could even fit in that back seat! Porsches have the same deal, I drove a 944 and there was more room than the Lexus but it was still pointless.

But I like the back seats of our cars. I havent rode back there but I did try sitting back there for a minute and it felt kinda nice cause you sit so low into the seat.

 

If you see it in the concept car and the prototypes it will be there in the production model

I like it, it harkens back to the original Camaro(like the louvers). My '68 had a definately two-person-onlybackseat, one you could even describe as "intimate" - I know, my girlfriend of the time and I spent a good deal of time there, although in that case "hump" had a different meaning. :-)

 

Give me a break! Look at the G8, which I have read is the same platform as the new Camaro:



If they can put a third back-seat in the G8, they CERTAINLY can in the Camaro...

 

that looks like the most uncomfortable back seat ever... looks like those plastic seats in the mcdonalds play area where parents watch their kids come in contact with needles and diseases....

Hey, I would MUCH rather have what the G8 does, than the stupid Camaro hump... It would make for a *better* back-seat "hump". ;-)

yeah but lib think of it this way.. are you REALLY going to have sex in a car thats not even 5ft wide in the inside? i have a camaro with trans am seats and they are comfortable as hell man.. i think the rear buckets embrace my buttocks with a loving care that only a mother would give to a baby. Besides its a sports car. if you want a luxury sports car they make like the Vanquish/DB9s and the Veyrons. IMO you cant have luxury and high performance. If they added some length to the corvette and even put in camaro style backseats it would lose its performance look and start to seem like just a regular old sports coupe. I think we should leave the luxury sports design to Audi and what not and stick withwhat we have.
