Anyone running a Supercharger/Turbo
I run a Magnacharger TVS2300 on a 2010 L99 which (with headers and Borla exhaust) makes 504 hp at the rear wheels and 535 ftlbs of torque last tuned a week ago at Speedtek in Haltom City, TX. Add 20% for crank hp and that's about 630 hp and 645 ftlbs of torque. I've seen the Kenny Bell setups and they look very clean and reportedly make more hp (a small bit). The O2 sensors need some tweaking with headers because they run cooler than stock if you do headers and it freaks out the ECU but the sound and hp are worth it! WICKED beautiful sound that damn near gives me wood every time I gas it! SO fast its hard NOT to spin the tires at various times if you're not careful. On smooth asphalt with defeated TC and stabilization I can spin the tires at 80 mph pretty easy! Running Chevy custom 21" wheels with 275-35-21 Pirelli P Zeros presently but may change to TSW Donington 20x10s soon. 0-60 should be around 3.8 sec and a drag 1 mile run should be around 168 mph but the car will be at the Texas Mile in Oct to check that. Top speed should be over 190 mph especially after the K&N cold air box is added.
Thanks for all the responses keep them coming. The Z06 is sold; it was 2002 TT putting out 790+ RWHP. Received a PM of two asking why I was selling. First of all I’m 65 and getting in and out of it was not a problem yet but starting to be one. Second, it was a lot of HP to be driven on the street and was not for the faint of heart. Third and the most important someone came along and offered me more money than I was asking. So now I’m going to sit back, keep reading this forum and learning as much as I can and wait for the Z28 to come out next year.
