Default Anyone have trouble programming their garage opener?

I have followed the instructions to the letter and I couldn't get the garage door opener to program and work. I have several Chevys with this option and never have trouble programming them this is the first one I can't make work. Any suggestions or instructions I might have missed? thanks

If your garage door throws random codes you will have to use the learn button on the opener. What I did was push the learn button then within 30 secs push your Homelink button you're programming 3 times holding it for 2 sec each time. That worked for me.

I think I tried that but I will give it a shot again. I don't understand if the Newer cars are different? but I have had a bunch of chevy trucks and I can program them in just a few seconds.

I just picked up my car last Friday and programmed the Homelink with no problem BUT I did it the old fashioned way. Held the garage door opener up to the homelink and pushed both buttons. When the LED over the homelink buttons flashed rapidly it was programmed. I'm not sure why this worked this way since my garage door opener throws random codes but it did. The way I said in my previous post worked for my Grand Cherokee.

Good luck.

Did you have to hold the buttons until it flashed? or just push them simetanously and release? thanks
