It is all about giving customers choices - ultimately what they want. GM should offer more modular connectivity options, even if it's a user or dealer installable option not from the factory. I want first class connectivity in a 2010 car it doesn't have to be standard, but to not even offer the options is a HUGE misstep. I should be able to plug-in an iPhone and have seamless plug n play of audio & video to the in-car A/V.

I mentioned similar to GM's Pilcher (Camaro Product Manager) at Indy. Hopefully the message will be acted upon.

 

i'm with him.

my dream car is a completely gutted, rough riding, loud and brutal monster of a car. it doesn't need carpet, nor heat (the heat from the engine coming off the firewall should be enough ). screw sound deadening. and i'll take the glorious sound of a sbc purring over a radio any day it only needs to be able to accelerate quickly, turn like a Le Mans racer, and stop on a dime.

yeah i'm with most of you, i dont' have ac, pw, heater, or anything funncy on my car and its great, but lets face it, even if all of us that love the camaro bought one of those 2010 it won't be enough for them to survive so there is gonna be alot of ppl that will want to change their hondas to something like this but might be discourage from the lack of this components that are just sooooo "necesary" now days, just my opinion.
