I am new to the site and was looking for your thoughts/opinions. I just bought a 2011 2LT RS but it has to be ordered so I will not have it for another 4 weeks. When I was test driving it, the vision was not that great compared to other cars. The salesman said that he owns a camaro and that you eventually get used to it. Is this true? Do any of you have any problems changing lanes or anyhthing?

 

I got used to it fast. I think a vette has way worse blind spots then the Camaro by far in my opinion

 

I've been driving for a long time, hold a CDL Class A , have driven many different cars & trucks..... and it even took me some time to get use to.
If you have the skills, you'll get used to it and will have no problem, you just have to be more aware of what's around you and put a little more effort into doing so.
It's no different than most sports cars in that sense.

After you get your mirrors adjusted right, it is no problem

 

retired OTR cdl driver,had an '02 vette coupe and an '04 Z06 prior to the SS.if you drive diligently,and pay attention(as all drivers should,but many don't),you'll have no problems.enjoy the ride,and the jealous looks you'll be getting !

 

Get used to it! Look twice and save my life! Other than that- enjoy! Congrats!
