2010 camaro ss 75k miles - low/no oil pressure alert goes off 3/5 times when vehicle starts. After 30 seconds of pure panic pressure reads normal and light goes off, everything seems fine. No knock, no high temp, pressure stays in normal range, 20ish at idle, 30-40 at rpm load. Was in a tight spot - drove it 10 miles or so to get home. Changed oil, running full synthetic factory recommended - was a half quart low - thought maybe that was issue, threw error first start after oil change but next 4 starts no issue, test drive a few miles, back home in garage. Let it cool off, now getting error again. Oil pump or pressure sensor? I’m thinking pump, but I want second opinion before I go throwing money out the windows. I should have changed sensor along with oil, but hindsight ya know.
