I have a few questions for anyone that can help. My grandfather purchased a 2010 camaro this summer from an auction. He went through a small used car dealer in the area. I haven't been able to find any information on it through Google so I've decided to try here. The model is a 2010 Chevy Camaro "chaoSS". He was wondering if it was an actual factory package or if someone just added the decals for looks. If it was an option or package than what does it include?

I've done a lot of internet and magazine research about Camaro's and I haven't ever heard, seen, or read anything about a ChaoSS camaro. Not saying it's not possible that someone did some work to it by any means. I would do a good VIN search and see if anything pops up.

 

Look and compare RPO codes from sticker.
If from GM, I think not, then an RPO code would show up.

 

I've worked at GM dealers for 30 years and never heard of the ChaoSS package. Sometimes an independent dealer will off it's own package but it's usually an appearance package. Could be something the previous owner put on. If you PM the last eight digits of the VIN, I can run it through GM and give you a full list of the RPO's and what they are for.
