That's cause all the electric cars you're used too are small... The Tesla Roadster weighs approx. 2700 lbs. While that's still lighter than two tons,the Tesla isalso smaller than the Camaro. Batteries and motors are a little heavier than you think...
Ya, but thats in a fairly small package, the camaro w/o that stuff already weighs more than that. I just dont think they would do all this stuff for the camaro and then suddenly SURPRISE!! Its electric, that, for lack of a better word and sorry for the pun, would be a major buzz kill.

i would rather see a v8 turbo diesel than an electric one. have like 600 torque and get 30+ mpg

check out the specs on a123 lithium ion batteries...nanophosphate and their relationship to gm and by the way ge....you may be able to get an 8 or 6 but when you compare to an electric version most will say why bother...also google vehicle to grid....!!!!!!

see many horse and buggies on the road these days????

The volt is a plug in and drive 4 door boat.


I dont think any camaro/f-body/even mustang fan would want that.

I HIGHLY doubt that the volt is the new camaro, yeah they look a little similar but a camaro bein electric no way man that wouldnt make any sense
