Hey guys I am looking at building either a gtr or an american muscle that can compete with a 1000 awhp GTR, since american muscle is so much cheaper.

Can these things get to 1000 whp and be reliable? What are the block limits? What tranny is available for the camaro that can handle 1000 ft lb?

 

I would use the mighty GM Performance iron block, LSX right? Don´t know about tranny but there´s options, I´m sure you can find a Tremec box ready for the job or a seq if you have the cash.

 

how deep are your pockets? It can be done, but the budget is going to be high. You'd be better off buying one thats already done and save 50%+ on the price
