Default '09 Camaro Mirrors too WIDE ?

Am I the only one who thinks the '09 Mirrors are dangerously stretchy, which increases the chance of bumping them into other people mirrors, walls etc?

And isn't it too wide and not high enough? Which wont give a decent view of the cards behind you ?

You again. Ah, well the side mirrors on the new Camaros do look a little wide, but shouldn't be a reason not to buy it. I'm preatty sure that the design engineers at GM took into account the sizing of the vehicle to be well within the size of a lane. I mean I can't see the front of my 4th gen, but do I go around bumping into stuff? No. People drivingtrucks, not to mention truckershave mirrors that stick out way more. When you get down to it its all up to the driver and their perception of the vehicle while driving it. You shouldn't be hitting anything with those mirrors, and if you are, you are retarded, and in that case you shouldn't be driving a Camaro. Maybe you should go watch Transformers again, because from your posts it just seems that you saw that movie and after that, now want a Camaro.

At this point only insiders at Chevy know for certain what the production Camaros will look like. I think the mirrors will likely be changed some, it's pretty certain the concept wheels are larger than the production wheels will be, we already know that the door handles are different on the production version (based on comments from Chevy upper management). When we start seeing pre-production Camaros (or at least their pics) we'll know more about what we like and don't like, until then the concept is only a guideline.
