I have had a fairly significant vibration in my 68 camaro ever since I have owned it. You can fill it in the shifter and steering wheel and is associated only with engine RPM, for example if I push in the clutch and let off the gas it goes away. I thought a couple of easy fixes would be to replace the fly wheel and harmonic balancer, but it is still there. I was under the hood of my car the other day and noticed that the engine block seems to be very smooth running with my hand on it but it is quite a bit more pronounced touching the shifter, even in neutral. These vibrations are worst from idle to about 3500 RPM. Does anybody know if this sounds like a bent input shaft on the Muncie? Thanks for the help.

if the engine feels very calm to the touch..perhaps a mounting issue? or a block to tranny problem?

I just got done doing a frame off resto and replaced all the mounts, rebalanced the driveshaft, repaced the springs with multi's, and had the rearend reworked. I am running out of things to replace!!!
