I am in the process of rebuilding a 350 to put in a 1991 Camaro RS, it came out of a truck so I want to put different heads in it but have no clue what to go with, any suggestions? A friend said to go with some 327 camelbacks.....???? It will probably be drove quite a bit and I'd like it to have quite a bit of power, but around $700-$800 or cheaper for the set complete......Thanks for the help....

Hell yes most definatly GM vortec heads are the way to go . Just make sure your cam isnt too big for the stock springs as they will only handle lift's up to about .480 .The best part is they are only about $500 for a complete set depending on which dealer you go to .

Question will the vortec heads work with tbi? most mags say you have to have a vortech intake.

The bolt patterns are different and you will need an intake made to fit the Vortec. Check with Summit or Jegs, I seem to remember seeing something that would work. Probably mount the TBI on top of a 4 BBL Vortec manifold. You may also want to boost the compression because truck engines are usually pretty low.
