I have a 1994 Convertible Z28.Can someone help me with the controls.There is a petcock or valve on the hydrolic motor.What is that for and wich way should it be turned.The motor was not working when I bought it.I have the motor running now and when I have the valve pointing going with the lines which I would think "open" the top does nothing.When I have the valve the other way The top works but very slowly.To me seems like the controls are backwards.You press up and it takes the top off.You press down and it puts the top on.Is this the way it should be?Thanks for any replies.

FWIW I have a 94 Z28 conv.......pressing down (lower rocker) on the power roof button lowers the roof {provided the top clips are undoen;)} the upper rocker setting should raise the roof.
