Default Newbie - first Camaro - HELP!

Just bought 96 Camaro Z-28 convertible, cleaning up a few things under the hood. SES light was on, found short in wire to MAF. Still have P0200 and P1222 showing, how do I test injectors? Also, found a purge valve (i think that is what it is) on the front drivers side of the engine (i noticed there is also one on top of the engine). The electrical is hooked up but both vac lines go nowhere, I can't find anywhere to hook them to. Any help much appreciated.

Without High Dollar Equipment It's Hard to Test Injectors. If Your Just Trying To Find Out If Each Is Firing You Can Use A Mechanic's Stethoscope Or A Long Screwdriver. You Can Put the Tip On Each Injector With Your Ear To The Handle You Should Hear A Clicking Noise. That is The Solenoid Operating. You Can Check The System Itself by Using A Noid Light. Plugging The Noid Into each Injector Connector ... Start the Engine And The Light Should Flash. Sick

That's great, it's the same valve that's on the top of engine (purge canister valve pic) but it's on the drivers side kind of by the opti on a bracket. The wiring is hooked up but both vac lines are just hanging there.
