I just wanted to know if someone had any ideas about how to get rid of the tire burn off when it gets on your paint. I am going to be going to the track here when it opens and wanted to know if anyone has any tricks for this. I would appreciate any help in this. I have a great paint job and its always real hard to get the tar off.

i looked in my summit catalog and didnt see anything, you might ask some of your local speed shops.i know dirt track racing we use baby oil to help keep the mud from sticking and it dosent hurt the paint and there is also a product called mud-off to keep the mud from sticking.you might try spraying the rear quarter with baby oil and see if it will keep the rubber from sticking, just an idea.

what i have done, with my white car, was to buy Pam cooking spray. it leaves no residue, it has nothing that will hurt the paint, and when youre done, it will wipe off, with the rubber.

I did not get a chance to get any before going to the track. I was busy working out other issues. I did hear that the Pre-Sol works well.
