Long tube headers that tend to be small in diameter will
generally around town fuel economy by about 1 mpg
(if you have a stock cam, no telling what will happen
if you have an aftermarket cam).

Putting in more air pressure in the tires, up to the max
that is reasonable for the tires/car, will do the most. I
had an Audi S4 recently (4.2 liter 340 Hpo V8) that
gained 1.5 mpg going from 28 to 32 lbs air pressure.

If you have a manual trans, shift at 1500-1800 RPM. The engine
has the torque and running at below 2kRPM will save gas.

Make sure your plugs/wires are up to snuff, your fuel filter is in good running shape, your tires have the recommended amount of air in them, your air filter is clean, your fuel injectors are running up to snuff, and stay out of the throttle.

Don't drive it, till u really need it to stomp on a Mustang or some ricer.
U got a pretty big V8 and moving all that metal around uses gas. Keep the car in good tune, light on the gas pedal, coast whenever possible. short shift if u have a manual trans.

Nah, don't even waste gas on some lame ricer. It's more of an insult NOT to race him.
