Hi,
I am working on a friend's car and he needs the valve cover gaskets and distributor oring replaced. Do I need to actually drain the coolant? Can I just move the throttle body out of the way with the hoses connected or does the coolant run through the UIM as well? Thanks for the help.

Yeah, looks like I can swing it if I pull the tb from the uim. I'd rather spend $3 on that gasket then draining all the coolant.
