Default 1968 CamaroVIN# help!

Hey, I just purchased a 1968 Camaro and I was looking at the VIN# and I noticed something odd. I have chevy by the numbers and was looking for the vin decoder and noticed that there was no description for my sequence number.
The VIN# is: 124378N473229
I know this means: 124-Chevy Camaro, 37-V8 Coupe, 8-1968, N-Norwood plant, then the 4 is where im confused, the camaros sequence numbers started with 3's in that year. In chevy by the numbers, it says corvettes started with 4's. I know that Camaro COPOs came with 427's, does that mean this car is a COPO? Any help is appriciated. Thanks, Daniel
