It a 1979 Z-28 RS Camaro Pro touring car.I have it since 1982.The speedometer has turned over four times.
Engine/Drivetrain Modifications:
377 cubic Hydralic roller cam with stud girdles,Milodon Raod race oil pan.small block Chevy. With a Weiand 142 cubic inch Supercharger HP 500 HP plus.Center Force clutch ,Scatter shield Super T-10 with a Hurst Super III shifter. Original 8.5 10 bolt rear end with a Moroso "Brute Strength" center section,Chevy 3:42 gears,Mosier axles.Modified the clutch linkage with Heim joints.Crane Hi-6TR ignition box.
Suspension Modifications:
Vette Brakes C-4 Corvette monoleaf adjustable suspension ,1 1/4 front ,7/8s rear ,Poly urethane grease-able sway bar bushings, with a Herb Adams VSE rear sway bar mounting kit. KYB gas Shocks. Baer Brakes ,13' front,12' rear 1979-81 TransAm 4 wheel disc proportioning valve. 1982 Corvette brake master cylinder.
Wheels/Tires Modifications:
American Racing Torque Thrust II`s. 17 x 8 wheels with Goodyear performance tires
Interior/Exterior Modifications:
Painted it Dupont Mariner bright blue.With Can Am bright white 1970-3 Z-28 /SS stripes ,1970-4 Z-28 metal emblems, A Fibermotive IMSA /IROC fiberglass nose.a Glastek 6" cowl hood.a custom aluminum instrument panel with a Autometer Monster Tach with remote shift light,with matching Speedometer,and 2"gauges as well. Corbeau adjustable racing seats with 5 -point racing harness,
Future Modifications:
A Bright blue carpet to match the paint.And recover the back seat to match the Corbeu`s.a 6 point padded roll cage.with a removable cross bar.A custom center console .
