I bought a 97 convertible, 3.8 v6. It's curr my only vehicle and everyday dr. I put some work into it and plan on more. I really like this car and enjoy working on it. Not sure if I am wasting my money tho. I changed plugs and wires and that cleaned up a lot of problems but coolent is Monday dirty like as in dirt. May just need flush. Need to chemical and combustion test. Spark plugs were carbon less and white on tips and rusty on outside. Could be bad wires and weather but have some smoke coming from exhaust. And losing coolent with no sign of leaks. That s were I am right now, keep or trade. As long as I can do the work in driveway I'm game. I installed stainless steel duel exhaust, front and rear sway bars idler puppy automatic tensioner heater hose assembly tires brakes rotors battery and leads and was planning flush and trams filter. Is it worth it to keep going. Don't want to if is going to die anyway in a year or two
