Tell the world a little bit about your vehicle
Bought the car off E-Bay as an unfinished project. It was a bare roller with alot off stuff in boxes. Two and a half years later she's on the street and just needs a couple little things, a little bodywork and a slick paint job.
Engine/Drivetrain Modifications:
Everything is new or rebuilt. The 454 was bored 60 over to a 468. Added Iron Eagle heads, Edelbrock Air-Gap intake and a Holley 750 carb. Sports a Comp Hydrallic roller cam, Manley pushrods and Comp stainless steel roller rockers. Forged JE pistons on stock rods and polished crank. Entire assembly balanced and assembled with ARP fasteners. Spark is handled by a Mallory 42 series billet distributor, coil and 6A-L ignition box.
Suspension Modifications:
Car has had subframes welded in and a 4 point roll bar installed. Frame has very little flex. Competition Engineering j-hook ladder bars help some with traction. Up front everything is rebuilt stock with the exception of a HD sway bar and BB springs by Hotchkis.
Wheels/Tires Modifications:
Wheels are 17 inch Eagle Alloys sporting 225/50 front and 275/50 rear Nitto NT450 tires.
Interior/Exterior Modifications:
Interior was redone with mostly original pieces which I restored. The dash had to be replaced with OER and a new headliner and carpet were installed. I installed all new wiring and replaced the old gauges with new Autometer Ultralites. I stripped the old seats modified the rear seat frame to fit around the roll bar and had them recovered.
Future Modifications:
The only plans I have left are to swap valve covers, add an pcv set up with a catch can, and a real nice paint job. Read more ยป
