Default Wheels, I be lookin

So I can't make up my mind about aftermarket wheels. In my situation, if I got new wheels, they would be narrow, and have cheapo tires. So I'm looking at a different road, one I've considered multiple times. I'm thinking about powdercoating my wagon wheels mirror black (glossiest black on the market). Then order chrome centercaps. I'd like to do a silver lip on the rims, but I'm not sure if the shop can do that, something I'll be looking into later. Since I'll only be handing over $300 for the powder, that gives me a lot for tires, so I'll be able to do 255/40/17 up front, and 285/40/18 in the back, and with some slick tires. Here's a 5 min photoshop I did, I'm not very good at changing colors yet, but I'm learning.

Tire idea:

Doesn't sound like to bad of a plan. Can't say I have heard much about those tires, but they look like they will handle good. I too will be lowering mine hear soon. I am picking up a set of new KYB AGX shocks for $200 tomorrow, and will be buying the Eibach Prokit. Supposed to be an inch or so. Can't go too low with the RS.

The tires are very neat. At first, all the reviews complained about noise, but the rest of them gave 10 out of 10 for awesome handling, wear, and just a good all-around tire. Plus they look cool

Here are some tires I have had and liked. Called Yokohama AVS dB, they are supposed to be quiet. They handled well, and when it came time for rain they worked very well. They would move so much water, no one wanted to be behind you.

There's mixed reviews about the tire I picked out, but I have a tsp rumbler, not like I could hear them

Those tires are really nice also. The hard part is matching them. I'm not using the same size tire on all fours, so I have to find a tire that is offered in the two sizes I want.
