I honestly cant remember if there were holes afterwards or not... i just remember that it looked a lot better once i took them off. The ones that were on my old car were rusty so they had to go...

THey are for the head light covers i had them on my car when i bought it. They were used to keep air from ripping the headlight covers off and them going into your windsheild.

 

There werent any holes, the metal pieces just stuck on.. It does look better, but there is still a little rusty discoloration on the plastic.. Maybe I'll be able to clean it up and take a new pic..
