not to get in a pissing match here, but yes....GM did half-*** them. you ever notice how bad those T/As stickers faded and peeled up around the edges? GM did those things because the wanted to take the cheap way out. when you produce a car in the numbers that they do, you cut corners anywhere you can to keep the price down.

why do you think all the new trucks just have cheap aluminum bumpers with chrome plating on them, instead of durable steel bumpers that trucks need? it's because the half-assed them to save a buck. there a millions of examples of things like this that manufacturers do.

now having said all this, I am not totally against someone putting vinyl stripes on their car if they want stripes, but if the car is getting painted anyway, why not do it right and have them painted on? it won't be that much more money than stickers, but it will look 10 times more professional

i think a green maro would be sweet... like, if it was like CRans car, only the same tone in green.... if that makes any sense

edit: it looks okay on the 1969 Pace Car... but i dont like all hugger orange maros (at least, not on a 4th gen)
