ok so i have some rust on my car its about 1in by 1in and am not possitive on how to remove it completely, i no i have to sand it, and prime and paint it again in that area but will i need to put any like filler such as bondo in were i grind the rust out or will it not be that big of adivit were i sand out the rust,were the primer will fill it in good enough. im kinda wingin this so any and all info given on how to do this is extremly apreciated. thank you.

 

I'm currently dealing with this issue on my car....I've heard of different products that are suppose to react with the rust and stop it from getting worse but I cleaned a couple spots up on my car til there was no rust and in the bigger hole I used some steel mesh and put it over the whole from the inside with some picks and then used whats called USC ALL METAL its an aluminum based body filler.....and its seems to work pretty well and its not to hard to sand I'll try to get some pics of my work and post them up later.
