Im thinking about getting a set of lowering springs for my 94 v6 camaro. Probably eibach or hotchkis what inch drop should i go for and if anyone has pics of their 93-97 camaro lowered please post pics and size of drop. No 98-02's Please.

Well, are the roads around you decent? IF you lower your car and you have roads like in Michigan, be prepared to have a lot of money to keep fixing your suspension. I recomend 2" drop at the most if it is still going to be driven on the street.

I went outside armed witha tape measure and measured out 1" and put it on the wheel well. Is this an accurate way to estimate how far it will drop it down?

It depends on who you ask. It is actually measuring how much shorter the spring is. So it may acutally drop down more than an inch.
