Default LED 3rd Brake Light

Check this site out

http://www.dashzracing.com/Lighting-...splayMode/List

They have 3rd brake lights for every car it looks like, and other lights as well. My 3rd brake light is all fogged up so I was planning on getting a new one. These are LED and actually cheaper than what GM wants for a stock replacement. They come in smoked and red to match your color scheme, I got red to keep with the stock look.

Will post pics when I get mine installed.

If it is like the one I got (which it looks the same), then you're gonna have to do some crimping. As soon as I installed it, I got an ABS INOP light, and the cruise control quit working. This is something that would happen if the 3rd brake light burned out before. The light works, but doesn't draw enough power to make everything believe it works. Resistors will more than likely be needed.

Well it went in fine, no problems fortunately. Here's some pictures:

The camera really doesn't do it justice for the night photos.

Here I'm trying to show how much light it's reflecting off my hand... yeah whatever haha

Was it a plug in kit? Or did you have to splice some wires?

Yeah I had to splice the wires, and connect them with splice connectors.

Very nice man. I might consider doing that too. Might as well seeing as how we pretty much have twin Camaros . By the way, I got the Neo iPod interface in the other week, and I am very pleased with it. Great looking car as always DMateo.
