Hey everyone, I am looking into buying an SS hood for my 02. Looking at some of the prices and stuff, the average fiberglass hood is around $600, I called a local dealership and the steel ones are like $1500. Are the advantages of the OEM steel really worth a grand?

 

IMO no they are not for 1 they weigh more and 2 they cost more.. but make sure its a quality fiberglass,what brand fiberglass are you looking at.. im in the same boat as you right now im buying a new hood too and im goin with the fiberglass Suncoast.. you ever heard ofthem or know anything about there product quality?

 

Actually I have heard of Suncoast, but no clue about their quality or anything. They are carried by andysautosport.com I know and they usually do a pretty good job of customer service and all that good stuff. I think you should be ok, but let me know how everything goes
