So i have the 93-97 lt1 body style with the halogen lights, but the light output on these are very poor and i cant think of what else to replace them with that has a way better output. Is there any cheap(er) way to replace them with something brighter? Are there any replacement lights out there already?
Thanks

I have Slyvania Silverstar Ultras for Highs and Lows, which helped a bit.

A few guys on here have HID kits too.

Your choices might be a little more limited, and definitely more costly, if you replace the whole glass light portion. But you can carefully pop off the bulb (it's glued on) and replace it with a standard style replacement bulb of your choice. I glued mine in (when I had a 4th gen) with clear silicone adhesive.

I saw the write up but i wasn't sure if anyone else did something different or not, but ill probly end up just going your route. So i just buy the kit here: http://eurolamps.com/eurolamps/camaro_headlights.htm and follow your write up?

Also, has anyone just changed the bulbs and noticed a difference? I know you have the get the bulbs out differently since they're sealed but does just changing the bulb make it brighter..?

So try Sylvania's or something? HID's will be a plan later on but for now new bulbs would do

i bought either sylvania silverstar or sylvania xtravision before i bought my hid lights. the biggest difference from stock to sylvania to hid is that from stock to sylvania the lights are whiter and seem like your highs are on when only your driving lights are on. (people would flash there lights when i was driving). then sylvania to hid is even bigger. i bought blue hid's i think the number is 180000 and they are awesome all the signs are visible and the road is also.
